Series 5 pushrods recommended for competition and modified engines, providing 105,000 psi tensile strength over Series 3. Improves valve timing accuracy under high RPM, boost, or nitrous conditions. Proven in top fuel, sprint car, tractor pulling, and marine applications.
Upgrade from OEM pushrods due to inadequate strength for non-stock applications. Made from 4130/4135 seamless Chromoly tubing heat treated, with billet steel tip ends. CNC machined from 86L20 bar stock, core hardened, triple tempered for durability. Enhances valve train performance and longevity.
Available in 3/8 and 7/16 diameters to suit different engine setups. Larger diameter spreads load and prevents binding with cylinder head ports.
Correct pushrod length crucial for maintaining stock rocker geometry and preventing premature hydraulic unit failure. Overlooked but critical for performance.
